No I just lace them normally, perhaps it's easier to achieve the look with box fresh shoes?

I hope Tom doesn't mind me violating his laces, but the pure cotton dye's really well too.

Has anyone else gave this a go and if so was there any bleeding. Dying the laces I mean.

The dye seems well fixed in and I've had no bleed so far, but then again i haven't worn them in the wet since so can't say for certain that it won't happen.

If your planning on trying some you need to leave them overnight to get a good strong colour and allow the dye to seep under the anglets, I ran mine through the washing machine a couple of times afterwards to wash out the spare dye to try and prevent any bleeding.

Cheers Jim I remember my brother dyed some jeans with that stuff a few years back and it was fine. I want to put these in my red suede def jams so I really want to be sure before I do it.
