Well just starting to collect superstars got a few pairs from the 35th series however the sizes are all very strange.

Im a 9.5 but fit a size 9 in most adidas trainers apart from the superstars and the grandslams on which im a 10.

the four pairs i have are

# upper playground size UK10 - fits perfect

# project playground size UK10 - feels like 1 size too big

# 35th adicolour size UK10.5 - feels like half a size smaller which is fair enough considering the upper playground 10's fit perfect.

# 35th bostons UK 10.5 - feels like i need 1 size smaller

Anyone care to give some input on how the diffferent series fits. As this is confusing. Will have to sell these on the bay or swap with anyone who has got the same but too little.

You'll find adidas sizing is a bit hit and miss.

For years I was 10.5 UK in nearly everything I put on me feet, then I found that SS1's (my Yoda's) were a size too big. Then I bought a pair of SS2 TL's in UK10 and they fitted fine. Am still UK10.5 for SS Skates but UK10 for SS1/2s now. Maybe a 9.5 for 80's.

On the plus side I can now be a bit more flexible for any grail pairs that turn up.

Can't comment for vins.

Just get used to varying your sock thickness quotient mate, that and insoles .
fc's right though, adidas sizing can be all arse about face sometimes - 10s that feel smaller than 9's - even just in supes.

My supes range from a size uk7 up to uk8 and I've got a pair of uk8.5 SS1s but they feel tiny! I reckon 80's are the worst for variant sizing. It's pretty much mpossible to give any accurate judgement on sizing.

Yup 80's are definitely the worst, my 3 pairs all fit differently, luckily it's only the lacing tightness that's needed.

Thought as much things are never that straight forward, how could a 10 not just be a 10.
