Ok, so I'm trying to up my game as far as taking pictures is concerned I have set up an area in the spare bedroom for the shoot, unfortunately my camera was about £50 so I’m a little limited but I have done a test pic and I think it’s come out ok.
Could anybody with a bit of experience please give me some advice about lighting and positioning???

The set up,

The camera is a Samsung s1060 set to close up on the scene mode @ 1024x768 with standard quality, should I up this? It will do 3648x2736 and super fine scratch

Any help would be most appreciated.

Can't really help on the lighting... Always find natural light is my fav but Im no pro!!

There really is no point upping the resolution of the images unless it's just for personal records or something, because we are never going to see it big enough to need such high resolution. It will just end up taking more time and space especially when uploading.

Anyway, maybe you should stop buying for a few weeks and upgrade cameras Wink hehe I'm getting some real good pics with my micro 4/3rds camera!!

You spend more time that I usually do Dave. Would love to be able to read your box top so can you re-po. that a bit so we can see it? Other than that, maybe just another small "backlight" on the camera left side and slightly behind the shoe. OK, I'll take off my TV director hat now and just say it looks great! Smile
