Paintball is fun. 10-12 years ago we played it quite often but not so much anymore. The hits do sting but hurt - not really. Unless you're a sissy girl or play only in your underwear without any protective clothing. Then it might hurt. Laughing When played in colder, below 0 temperatures the balls don't even break every time and that really does make the hits hurt more.
Doing nothing is very hard to do... you never know when you're finished.
