The US is not the same as Canada...US should be better...Canada is simply horrid re: post costs...

I'm not sure what it actually costs them, but most US shops tend to charge around $40-$50.

It's also worth remembering that the postage costs are added to the value of the item when they work out your customs charges. Shocked

Which is why i rarely buy anything from the US or elsewhere outside EU for that matter. Don't feel like paying twice the price for my soops in the form of taxes and customs fees. In a worst case scenario.

Doing nothing is very hard to do... you never know when you're finished.

That IF you get busted for duty/customs....my last two additional costs were purchases from:
a) FC
2) CT

And thats b/c it was shipped via courier which Canada Customs 'pull over' 90+% of the time..thus the BS brokerage and duty charges...never forgive CT for the $85 hit, just b/c they coudln't put 'gift' on the form...FC is/was just stuuuupid...
