Nah. I reckon they're to try and entice Goths in to the sneaker game. I can imagine them on some blacked out, safety pinned and studded Goths.
With that in the back of my mind, it's fair to say, i'm not a fan.

.... or maybe those rappers with the "grills" in their mouths. gold and silver crowns in their mouths; then gold and silver crowns on their Supes. Goths or Grills. Ick for both situations and double "ick" for that model altogether.

If you can see past (around) the toe piece.. these are sweet bases. A toe transplant would be simple enough. If they hit the sales, I will be buying.
