Lovely car Tif. What mark GTI do you have?
Since we're all getting new cars, I did the same last week, 3 years of owning a Mini Cooper (not easy with 1 child/1 dog) I went and got this:

Well, not that actual one, but same colour and mine has kid flaps (5 door).

Nice car Tif. 160 horses in that little tin can will be a lot of fun. Let me know how you get on with your new wheels FC, had my eye on one of them for my next ride too.

I have (until March) the MK6, FC. Except grey and a 4 door. Great car. I'm sure you'll love it. You got the 6-speed, I hope.

DSG is faster, innit?
Something nice about a regular manual gearbox, though.

Yes 6 speed manual. Never tried the DSG flappy paddles.

Took my car to a local garage for an MOT today. Not my usual back street grease monkey, a proper national chain with hundreds of branches. Car failed it's test. Man tells me it needs £240 worth of repairs. Drive half a mile down the road to another garage. Car passes with one minor advisory!

nice fc, how much a month is that on finance? roughly...
was thinking bout swapping my mk4 GTI for a more economical newer polo, but I like the polo GTI, and that basically has the same engine, so wouldn't be down sizing, so yeah.. now im just driving round under 3k rpm to boost fuel economy, lol
