And yes Mars, skates are a tight fit, it's the padding (on MK1&2 ss skates anyway).

has anyone ever removed some of the padding on the mk1/2 skates, i had to go down half a size to get a pair that I couldnt find anywhere in my size, have been toying with the idea of removing the padding round the heel to make more room
