I've read many reports that if you complain about your IDs then they dont charge you for them.
The Nike outlet i visit has a section of IDs that were sent back for whatever reason. Some nice colourways but ruined by peoples names etc on them.

On the first pair they sent me the midsole started cracking so I sent them back, they refunded my money and sent me out a new pair... Nice...

Unfortuntaly this is common in al ot of Air series.
My Footpatrol Stabbs started to crack after a couple of days wear. Was going to send them back, but i was lucky to get them in the first place.
Just slighty cracking around the air bubble at the heel, but nothing serious and nothing to put me off buying more Nikes.
Not as bad as the leather cracking on both my Superstar 1 Vintages I got in the Size? sale last year.

what does the nature of the complaint have to be bout?

I read about people complaining that the colours were not what was shown on the screen when they were designing them.
Others complained about the quality of the stiching etc.
After all if you were to send them back then what are Nike gonna do with them, but put them in an outlet and hope that someone else has the same name etc or whatever else is personalised on them.
At the end of the day its all about good customer service.

Mine starting cracking after only a few wears - it's not like they were getting hammered, I was generally sitting in a cinema.

Oh well, I got them for £20, so I can't complain too loudly.

Happened on both my pairs.
Wouldn't have minded so much if they weren't white, but it shows a visible black cracking and just makes them look like old beaters even though I only had them a week or so,
