Got laid off today. Two month notice period but I'm hoping my work obligation would end soonish.
I'm not sure if this is really a blood boiler. I'm quite relieved actually.

Rubbing down a pair of SS2s that I had painted once before so I can recycle them with a new paint job, and the fucking heel tab starts to disintegrate! The "padding" just started to flake away from the fabric underneath as I was rubbing it with a cotton ball with acetone. Totally fucked now. This has never happened before. Ever come across this issue Beji? I am properly fucking fuming!

Can't go mad with acetone on synth man. I poked a hole through a pair and had to 'fill' LOL. My approach is to use something milder and apply a base coat whilst it is still wet, added a bit of fabric medium in too and heat cured it. Then painted on that. But the main thing is to bond to the dissolving top coat i guess.
