Bought a pair from Ebay and the guy shipped them UPS with the signature required IN PERSON. 3rd, and last attempt for delivery was made today. The UPS facility is not open on weekends and they close at 6:00 during the week. I get home at 7:00.

My wife is going to try to get there tomorrow for me, bless her heart. Otherwise it would likely be heading back to the seller as they only hold it for 5 days.

Painful.
Well, here's what's making my blood boil: I've been working on a particular project since December 2010. We launched this afternoon around 6. I confirmed that we went live.
Went is the operative word. Something's gone wrong and we're down and there's no one around to fix. Grr.

Update to mine. My last show was on tape tonight so I was able to leave work early. After I got off the train I drove directly to the UPS center (in traffic) to get there before they closed only for them to tell me that they had put it back on the truck for another (4th) attempt. As I type this I am waiting for him to arrive to be greeted by my less-than-cordial self.

Yes. After 7:00pm. I tried to get an explanation as to why they did that but he didn't seem to understand.
