Hello there, I'm Jenn.

I kind of became obsessed with adidas through my fiance, who's an old-skool California and New Orleans raver. I'm kind of a n00b at this but I know what I like, and what I like is the shelltoe.

I must admit: I found this site and joined for the sole reason that I'm looking for a specific Superstar. You guys are experts, I know a lot of you really know your stuff, cold so I figured someone could help me.

I'm looking for these:

I have ONLY ever seen them at Journeys shoe store here in USA and I could not find them in my size before they took them off the shelves because I wear a 4.5 in US and 4 in UK

So yeah, that's what brought me here. If anyone finds these shoes in my size, please point the way. I'm OBSESSED with these.

As an aside: I think this is an awesome site you have here. I know I'll learn a lot from you. I checked all your guides on "how to spot a fake" and I'm so appreciative. You guys are awesome and I know I'll really enjoy posting here.

As it turns out, my correct size in WOMENS is a 6 for Adidas. I've been buying my Superstars sized in men's 4.5 so I thought all SS were like that.

I managed to find a pair of the above shoe in my size, ordered it and it's being shipped! w00t!

I went BACK to Journeys in my local shopping mall and asked for a manager. I explained to him that the central office tried to locate the shoe but that they have taken it out of the warehouse and they have no access to a db of what's in each individual store.

The Manager got on the computer and the phone until he'd located one in my size. We checked my foot against another women's size 6 to be certain and then he ordered them to be shipped to my door.

And the best part is that since they're on CLEARANCE, I paid only $46 for the whole deal, shipping and sales tax included.

I'm considering going back there and seeing if he can find another pair for a spare. I only plan to wear the pair I'm getting to parties (I'd LOVE to wear 'em to the 2nd Hullabaloo reunion in TO this summer if I can get tix) but I'd like a second pair to put away, just in case.

Wow, Sweet! I'm glad to hear about your success! Be careful not to get the infamous disco dirt all over them though when you wear them to parties.
