Welcome dude, laces are a big part of kicks I don't know how you can get around like that.
I leave the laces out of my Run DMC's but not my Ultrastars and they both at least
have elastic to stop them dragging like that.
The reason (besides the obvious) that alot of people are against it
is because the whole "no shoelace" thing didn't start with Run DMC,
it started as a prison thing because they weren't allowed laces in their shoes.
