Keith Lemon The Film - Trailer is half way downT
If you have £5 and Chuck Norris has £5, Chuck Norris has more money than you.

It's so clear and sharp with dvd's maybe i need to try blu-rays
Agreed Pokey. It looks like your staring at a high definition Fish tank. It hurts my eyes after about 2 min.
We had a discussion about this at my Cousin's house, and one of his friends mentioned something about the "Hz" Setting causing this weird panning camera effect.
Check if you can drop that Hz setting on your TV. That may do it.
But Yeah..TOTALLY agree with you. We watched 'The Godfather' on that thing with a bunch of my cousins Italian friends from Brooklyn..who were amped up to see it.. (Wannabe Jersey Shore douches...) lol
Anyway, I walked in where Sonny was @ the toolbooth and had to walk right out of the room. It looked TOO fake.
Vintage film getting all jazzed up = SACRILEGE!!

so are we saying that these new Smart tvs (which I am considering buying) are so good, they make films look like just that, a film, rather than real life?
I first thought that when I watch Indiana Jones 4 on blu ray, the opening sequence in the warehouse clearly looked like a film set.

Indy 4! why did you mention that? It is one of the worst movies in the history of mankind and deciding if HD tv's are good or bad based on that movie is like saying that you don't like pizza because you don't like Berlusconi.

I think we're saying that Smart Tv's are the dogs bolloxs but dvd's just don't cut it so you have to go the blu-ray way

Blue what, HD..VD eh?
I just watched Hanna last night on my 17" regular flat screen and it was perfectly adequate and did not ruin the Feng Shui of my front room.
They are only going to get bigger and bigger, until one day you are sitting in your garage watching one because that is the only space big enough.
Walls are for pictures. LOL
