I am so glad i found this site as it has just saved me lots of money on fake ian browns on ebay. I must be completely naive as I didn't realise that fakes were so widely sold. Completely gutted as wanted to buy them as a xmas pressie for my fella!
I'm from manchester btw and love adidas though only have a couple of pairs of run of the mill trainers- my passion is just shoes in general really!

welcome, and yeh the vast majority of superstars on ebay are fakes, ian browns are very common fakes as well as many many others, be carefull out there!

Welcome! I'm pretty sure its safe to say that 99% of any of the 35th Anniversary shoes on eBay are fakes, unless the price is exorbitantly higher. But good luck with the collection of authentic adidas items, and welcome again!!

The fakers are getting cleverer (I wont say better!!!), several pairs I have seen on ebay are immaculate except......the insoles are very pale and the 'ian' & 'brown' is slighty sketchy with the writing. Seen people paying LARGE amounts of cash for fakes, clear fakes!!!
Its come a long way since the 'brown' 'brown' heels with the black leather!!!
