I was Crowndale road myself. recently moved out the area hence me goin on theforum at odd sporadic times until very recently. I stil work in camden though.never knew u lived in camden though. I moved away from the area and ifuckin miss it!stil down there most days though. how long u lived on parkway then?u live by jazz cafe or towards regents park?

Im getting the Verizon Voyager (being caled the I phone killer here in the states) Im sure it is no match for the Iphone, but it is on a better network(that I am also under contract with) and has a qwerty keyboard. Picture messages actually work, unlike the iphone. The main downfal is that it is without Wifi, but ohwell, I have a little laptop for that.
Im still very excited. I need a new phone.

Okay i read an artical yesterday so thought i'd fill any potential buyers out there in on this:
The iphone version 2 is about a year off but will be 3g,send and recieve picture texts,recieve live video streaming,video camera,

DONT BUY ONE YET TILL AFTER JANUARY 15TH!!! cause apple are making an announcement woohoo u say but from wot i read its a significant date 68 days after iphone launch in the uk!! and 68 days after release in usa apple slashed its prices by a third.
Supposedly there's loads of reasons apple would drop the price in the uk but the need to clear stock ready for the 3g version is the best reason this article says they can think of.

And if the iphone is as sweet as the touch music player, get one!!!!!!!!!!!! I played with the touch yday, work colleague has one. Nice! I am in for the N95 8GB as my next phone, the standard N95 is my current one and I just fancy it! Wife is 49 days away from the F700 as upgrade. thats sweet too!

I love my iPod touch, wouldn't trade it for the world. An iPhone would be nice, if I didn't have the touch, but I wouldn't sacrifice my beloved verizon to get it and be on AT&T

have had picture messaging and video camera for over a month now
there are amazing applications that bring it up to being a fully functioning device out there
they just don't ship with the phone yet
think of it like when you buy a mac or a PC new
pretty useless until you start adding software to them
the iphone is the same
3rd party apps are what make a device good
that's why it would fail as just a phone
it really is meant to be a lot more than that
so much so that i got another one 2 weeks ago
still haven't unlocked a 1.1.2 version though

Anyone know what n80s are like? i know the battery life is shit, but other than that?

The N80 is alright, the battery lasted me about ten hours though!

Once you install the nokia application SMS accelerator, the N80 is relatively stable (before I installed it, it was crashing 20 times a day!).

I've got an n73 now - it's a much better phone.

The main issue with the N series was the edition of Symbian, bit s-l-o-w!! I had an 6680 and it was far quicker with the software updates than a N80 without (dunno how) just was!
