Hello Superstar fanciers, I'm new here, and I have a problem.
I have a pair of Superstar IIs that I love, black with black stripes and white shells. They are about a year old and have been fairly well worn. Recently a squeaking noise has developed in each shoe, it seems to be emanating from the heel of the sole area.
Does anybody have any advice as to how I might rectify this squeaky situation? Or should I just consign this pair to the great shoe box in the sky?
Cheers

Depends on how knackered the SS11's are hon - or you could just try a bit of vaseline (No crude comments please!!!!!!!!!!)

Welcome along Fizzy,
sorry, can't help you with the squeaking. I have to wear some pretty solid insoles in all my shoes, and occasionally they make my new shoes squeak, I just have to walk it out, seems to settle down after a while. In the meantime it just means more people check out my fly kicks

Welcome Fizz,
Y'know. Now that I think about it I have a pair of Camo Adicolors that do the same thing. Gets on my damn nerves.
Not sure what to do about that.

Just turn your ghetto blaster up. If you don't have a ghetto blaster, turn your mp3 player up. Failing that, do as I do and employ a marching brass band to mask the noise. Nobody talks about my squeaky shoes anymore, plus it is pretty damn cool walking into places since I instructed the band to play the Imperial March from Star Wars every time I walk through a door.
