point? sharing goods. i'm sure most of you have at least one illegal mp3/movie and so.
it's exacly the same, except u are buying only legit shoes (well, me too) and this book is about what this forum was crated for.

Comparing this to having a pirate movie or mp3 is ridiculous! Books are items to be owned and read from cover to cover and cared for. Would you go to the library and just tear out the pages you liked from a book, photocopy them and then hand them out to your friends!?!?(well, reading this thread so far, you probably would!)
This book encapsulates a little piece of sneaker history and thats why you should own it and not a "copy".
I will say no more on the subject, so stop asking!

mp3, movies and ebooks (this book would count to it, right?) are mostly illegal. it's not ridiculous to compare these two things.

this book is too pricey for me. i don't even know what it includes, to buy it, i'd to see it first and since it's not availabe in any polish shops - i'm 'forced' to download it.

Yeah its not the cheapest book but it is a hardback of a fair ol size and is well presented with great pics so it aint gonna be going for peanuts! I got mine for £20 plus P&P i think which i didnt think too bad at all! I think there are two versions of the book as well if my memory serves me well?

as u could already see my 'collection', i don't have any special releases, just general + two 35th and y6 - i have bought them all cheap.

in poland we don't earn a lot (let's say 1300 pln on average) and the price on shoes is from 150 to 350 pln (26 gbp - 62 gbp), depends on model and so. that book was 100 CDN, wich is around 265 pln - don't you think that would be a huge part of salary?

diffrent country, diffrent cultures, diffrent earning. i can't afford this book.

Its a book thats well worth having but if you cant afford it theres not much you can do about it i guess! Maybe you could ask for it as a Christmas present or Birthday ?

I am agreed with sin'pl. In Spain neither we earn a lot. I go to publics librarys because the books are actually a luxury. And this is a book that interest at young people, they don't have money.

Theres another version with a leather cover.
Think it sold for about £20 extra, but numbers were slightly more limited.

Yeah, there was a leather bound version as well. Only managed to find it on harputs at the moment, going for 200 dollars! I'll stick to me standard hardcover this time
