imagine if ebay were not allowed to sell consortiums or limited runs of shoes
hate to say it but most of us would struggle to ever track down a pair of anything rare without the use of ebay
i spoke with someone at nike last year and they said they love the hype they get from dunks going for $2,000
but hate the fact that they get no more than their cut of the original store price
they had even considered selling the shoes at $800+ to control what happens with them but said the backlash would be too great
i read that every company since 2003 that nike have taken to court for manufacturing counterfeit goods has liquidated before nike see a penny of money awarded
there is zero incentive for them to go after ghosts
