- Purchase or get an old pair of intended slipper.
- Get hold of a Stanley knife..
- Cut the heel and back part of trainer off..
- et viola! Slippers!

I have a pair of trainers that were always too big for me, so my feet easily slide in and out of them which have been my slippers for the last two years. If not for those, I would have gone to the above method with an old pair of kicks I don't wear any more.
