Ya I know what you mean about wanting to live in a different country. I've been in Canada for 9 years now, first in Vancouver, then Toronto, then finally settled in Ottawa. I don't think it's much of a trade up in terms of weather from England. It sure is sunny here, but it was -35C with windchill yesterday.
I'm looking to do my grad school down in the States or Australia in 2 years.
