Should be around the same size as the real thing BUT G5s are based on SS2 and Ian browns are based on vintage SS.
Personally, I'd go half a size up for G5s (so you'd be an 8.5) as the SS2 has a lot more padding and I find the 35ths are a bit big from the start.
