Did you use the banner? or a text link?

I had both the banner and text link they seem to pick up only on the text link, the banner also is a link but I've kept that.

Its just really annoying because you know that there is far more important things ebay could be doing like stopping fake items on the site and spam bidders.

As I said I'll keep the banner and see what happens, but I thought it would help not only for my sales but as far as reassurance to customers regarding authenticity. But who knows what ebay are thinking
