[Shellshock]

Nice story. I tried a similar thing once when I was about 8, after an arguement with my dad. I waited until everyone was asleep, sneaked downstairs, raided the kitchen for some supplies and got the dog on the lead, ready to make my way in the world. My plan came unstuck when I couldn't reach the bolt on the back door. I dragged a chair across the kitchen floor so I could reach but that woke my dad up who came downstairs, gave me a beating and sent me back up to bed!
