yeah this is old, read it ages ago but thanks for sharing it to the rest of the members. id have to say the prototype adi dasslers looked alot better than the final product. they shouldve stuck with adi's signature IMHO Wink

i stumbled on a pair of shoes on the bay claiming to be of the 25th anniversary? but they were forum mids. they looked really cool, they were made from a firebird adidas jacket but all cut up.

I'm pretty sure there was a Footlocker exclusive to help celebrate the 30th anniversary (i think).
Plain white superstar with a little footlocker star on the back.

yeah scratch and cracky i recall seeing that as well. but i think that was to commemorate footlocker's 30th year in conjunction with adidas so they made an exclusive superstar for all of the footlocker staff. i remember it was just a basic white superstar with the footlocker logo on the heel the shoe

Hmmm, let me see, we still harping on this re: the age of the article? I never said I didn't know it was old (obviously I do, given the release date of the 35ths)...I just wanted to point out a good read for those who never read it, irregardless of time...

Does anyone know WHY they celebrated the 35th anniversary?

I mean, in regards birthdays, you have 18, 21, 25, 30, 40 etc...

No one really makes that much of a big deal about their 35th birthday..

So why did they for superstars?

It has to have some relevance somewhere?

Am i being thick? Laughing

I need more lemon pledge...  Very Happy
