Woven soops in all black?!
#21

Not sure if they are fakes.
I think they might be seconds, check the tongue i bet there is a whole punched in it. I think the white box streak mentioned means this too.
I have a few pairs of these, although none with eyelets. One pair i bought from the originals store in Berlin, the others from the bay and random shops.

Thanks shell. I can guess what "seconds" means, but why would they have holes punched through the tongues?? Like CD jewelboxes? And where on the tongue (I'll ask the seller to look).

Its an indicator when they seconds etc that they cannot be sold as A1. Like TK Maxx do with clothes, Punch a hole in the label or stick a red marker thru the designer tag. (TJ Maxx is TK maxx over here BTW) Very Happy Very Happy

I have some on my feet right now, and the hole is just in random place, different on each shoe.
They also have B in a circle stamped on the inside of the tounge too.
Nothing wrong with them as far as i can see!

The seller wrote back to me -- no holes in the tongues and he/she does NOT think they are seconds.
But I think this new photo speaks for itself.
BUSTED.

Sin, Seriously?!?
Every pair of superstars I have (which is maybe 8?) has the more intricate tags w/the black & white noise-patterned box, the two different serial numbers, etc. Look nothing like this pair. And some of mine are at least 5 years old.
These tags are legit? Crap. I thought I cracked the case.

What about the fact that they have metal eyelets but no tongue holes?
