I wouldn't recommend using Oxiclean on Suede. I dont; know that anything would remove watermarks on suede. I would say if you need help on suede, go down to a local leather jacket store or cleaner that handles leather and ask them. just my two cents.

yeah, a suede block would be the first thing i'd try. available at any shoe repair shop or anyplace you'd get shoe polish.

once they're sorted out make sure you spray them with protector so it doesn't happen again.

a good tip for cleaning laces if putting them through the wash isn't working...

using hot water and washing liquid(ariel, etc) in a sink, dip the laces in the water and with a scouring pad, scrub away at the laces concentrating on small sections at a time. Obviously this will need to be repeated for both sides of the lace but if you've done it right, they will look brand new. Once cleaned, rinse them out with cold water and allow to dry.

Edit: Just to add, use the base of the sink to press the laces against whilst scrubbing, holding them in your hand and scrubbing wont work as well.

Ok i have my jml magic eraser, i rock turn ups, are there any other weapons i can use in my war against the scourge of denim bleed?

I have loads of trainers im scared to wear with denims (especially suade ones) but i cant live in trackies or shorts forever!

(i have a few pairs of kicks that i do wear with denim, but they are brown or black shoes that dont show the bleed)

Don't wear shitty jeans in the rain and clean your kicks when you get home!
So long as you've washed the jeans at least a couple of times, they shouldn't bleed.

Something I came across last week when cleaning up the used Just4Kicks I bought.

I wanted to remove the sock pills that built up inside and decided to try out the trimmer I have for trimming my goat...

It worked great! Give it a whirl!

Here's a photo of the one I have...

lol, my mum put my soups in the washing machine

turned out really nice
everything was white again(shell toe, tongue, well everything... even the insides)
some of the dirt trapped between the stripes and the shoes is gone
laces are nice and clean
except for the part in the soles. there was still a bit of dirt in between the zig zags
lol, i was pretty surprised
i was like "mum, what did you do to my shoes?!!?"
"woah, you must have put some elbow grease into it"
but she said she just put it into the washing machine with some "napi san"

but i usually just use whatever detergent i have and a brush and most definitely tonnes of elbow grease....
