I saw a time team special on the shoe room.
In 1993, the room now known as the shoe room was actually the kitchen. But the cupboards got taken over with blue boxes and in the intervening years the actual purpose of the room was forgotten. The geophys images were amazing. There part of the room that used to make fire (they called it the oven) was under a bunch of 1996 adidas releases. Digging further down to where the the foundations were started they found some 2Gs and metrums proving that back in those days tastes weren't as sophisticated.
