and question #2: As I only have 2 other pair of shelltoes (or Adidas at all - I, know it's shocking), which I don't have around here; I can't compare it to the labels of my other shoes. Therefore: Does the Adidas label usually look like this?

IIRC it's around 5-6 years old and also came in silver, blue, light blue, red, green and black (and possibly more colors...LOL...)

They do show up from time to time, your best bet is probably eBay.

The labels might differ a little depending on year and manufacturer, but overall they look like the one in your pic

it's adidas superstar 2 patent leather. it's and old release, there is a blue (turquise) version too, as far i remember. the inside tag is not used anymore.

It's an ugly-ass piece of shit is what it is, but aside from that, I would say that they just spray-painted a pair gold all over!
Now, do the polite thing and go and introduce yourself in the Visitors book
