I have the 'NBHDs' and 'Tates', both pairs are really nice.

The 'NBHDs' are pretty similar to the Tokyo's, but look a lot better IMO. And the 'Tates' are simply one of the tastiest colorways I've seen on a pair of SS2s, none of the official pics I've seen of them so far really do them justice.

Now I just want the 'Footpatrols'...

I got them from www.frontlineshop.com in Germany, but there's also a few sellers on eBay.de that sell them.

Suddenly Manus remembered that rubbing his chin whilst saying something that might, by some people, require the "inverted commas" hand signals was a lot less annoying.

And probably added a bit more "mood" to the piece.

However as the story begins with "It was a dark and stormy night, a wolf howled a howly howl and I heard footsteps behind me," I think that the fact that I was rubbing my chin was redundant in helping the mood. I also think that I would be unlikely to be thinking about the 'Tates' in such a situation, seeing as I was being hunted by a hungry pack of wolves.

nobody said they were called consortiums - i dubbed them the "poor man's consortium's", as in a more accessible way for most of us to get the nice colourways that have previously appeared on consortiums. I agree about the best colours for years though, especially the "Tate's" and the "UNDFTD's"

are you sure those were the dmops? any gold jewlery? any news on the Dasslers???

Not sure those are the D-Mops, but looking at the grey/purple-ish colorway I guess there's a pretty good chance they are. And I doubt they'll do a pair of 'Dasslers' as they would basically just be pair of white SS with black stripes, and there's plenty of those around already. Also, the Dassler's weren't really part of the Consortium Series as they were not a collab as the rest, which is also why they didn't come with Consortium lace tags.

I was kind of thinking that myself, after searching the web and coming up with nothing. I dont know if its "strangely" similar though. I Think Adidas knows what they are doing on this. Each one of those really resembles a consortium. Im pretty sure they legaly cant tie these to the consortiums, due to the colabs.
