They are glued but only in the middle.

Having taken the stripes off a pair of supes in the past, I found that they are glued on and then stitched. So you should be fine with them, doubt they'll fall off.

Sorry to hijack your thread Robert but I too am a bit confused, I'm sure I read on here that the recycle circle thing on 35th boxes meant they were fake. 4 of my boxes have the symbol but the trainers look ok, the warhols were from ebay but they belonged to an old member from here and I'm sure I ran the rocafellas past you lot as they were one of my first buys

Carly, I checked my 35th's (Berlin's, Missy's, Lee Quinones and BBQ's) and none of them have the recycle sign. My Adicolor Y6's do however.

More than half of my 35th's (8 pairs) have the recycle symbol on the box.
