#16
My problem is that I need laces for *ahem* The sneaker brand whose name we do not speak... I need hard to find colors... so I have to make the ones that I DO have last as long as possible.

I always thought Sk8 ironed his laces.

No need to iron.. Wash them with hand washing liquid, rinse in hot water, then pinch the top of the lace with a clean towel and pull the towel down the lace drawing out most of the water. Repeat twice more.. this straightens out the lace, then hang to dry over the radiator.
School over..

Well put C...I do that for the pairs I don't get brand new - some guys really mess up their laces...either that or I simply pop em out and replace em with nice fats...
