Just wondered if any brits had made the trip to the home of adidas ????
I'm thinking about making the trip as a birthday present to myself but although i can find my way round ebay and ssdb pretty well
I'm struggling alittle getting travel info regarding making the trip from the uk so wondered if any1 had any info,tips etc etc how to get there??who flies there??closest airport etc etc
Any help muchly appreciated
p.s Also would any1 be interested in making the trip with me??as i'll probably be making this trip alone if any1s been thinking or fancy's going maybe we can sort something out and make the trip together??

Looking on google maps it doesn't seem that far from Munich, so that's your best bet in terms of airports. I think the trains in Germany are very good. Nuremburg is much closer but not sure of the airport there if any.
Never been to Germany, the wife has says Berlin is deffo worth a visit, would love to go and especially to go where it all started.

Well thats the plan anyways so plenty of time but i may go earlier less afew of you ssdb lot wanna make a trip of it
Just wanna get as much info about the travel,flights,hotels and ££££ involved sorted 1st

I'm living close to Herzogenaurach. It's a short hop from Fürth, thats where I'm living. I have been to the Outletcentre in Herzogenaurach a few times. If you've got a car, it takes 20 minutes from where I'm living. You can fly by plane to Nürnberg its 15 minutes away from Fürth. But you can also fly to Munich and catch a train to Nürnberg. I don't know how you can go to Herzogenaurach by train and I don't have a car so I sometimes drive together with a friend.

Its an idea for if i get a summer placement with the national grid in the summer cos that could be in germany.

SSDB pilgramage to the Holy Lands? I'm down with that, always fancied myself as a bit of a crusader, got me own armour an everyting!
You never know Pokey, get enough of us to go and let them know before hand that we're coming and we might get a bit of a guided factory tour and some VIP treatment!
