Farmer's BrickWorx Pumas
#11

Very nice there farmer.
I like the basic 'canvas' you had as well.
Very impressed that you finished it, obviously have very good patience Smile

Looking forward to the next pair you do Smile

What you going to do with them now? Keep them unworn? Or rock-em, in the good weather?

Thanks so much for the Feedback, I knew I could count on everyones support here.

A couple things:

I'm definitely concerned about ink bleed. My neighbor recommended a suede spray. I'm gonna pick some up. But it doesn't rain much here in LA so I'm not too worried.

I was torn about whether to make the Puma Stripe green or keep it white. I was 50/50 but ultimately decided on Green because I was concerned about the white getting dirty. With the ink, White suede would be impossible to clean and quite frankly, it was already starting to look a little dingy.

I will definitely be rocking them... but only when I'm in for a change from Supes.

A question for the group...I thought long and hard about this but ultimately decided not to continue the Brick pattern on the lace strip and to keep it solid grey... Should I keep it solid grey, or continue the pattern as I did on the heel strip?

Sweet job Farmer thumbleft A totally unique pair!

I'm with sk8 on keeping the lace strip as it is, I reckon keeping it grey helps the laces to stand out a bit.

Well done Farmer. Very nice! I actually like how you have made the wing green...it looks sort of incomplete being white.

Can't wait to see you do a pair of soops!

Oh- I would keep the lace strip gray as well.
