Hello everyone and congrats on creating this fantastic site. My name is Christian, i'm 35 years old and i live just outside Manchester.
I'm not a collector just an avid wearer and admirer, bought my first pair of Superstars 8 years ago and havnt looked back since.
I tend to rotate 3 pairs depending on how im feeling and what i'm doing. Have always bought from reputable seelers but am about to wander into the murky world of ebay as can't find anything i like at the moment.
Cheers
Christian

Welcome to ssdb Spun
Enjoy the forum..Plenty of threads and info regarding ebay..Most of us buy off ebay as its pretty much the only place to find deadstock and pairs that are no longer available or rare hard to find stuff.
All depends what your after..ofcourse there's fakes out there but your in the right place to learn what to look out for and also to get help from people who already know and have the info to help you not get ripped off.
Goodluck with your searching for that next pair

Buying from the states can be easy or hard, cheap or expensive.
There are many us sites that ship to the uk. eBay.com also has many sellers that will ship to the uk.
Shipping can cost from £10 to £30 for a pair of supes depending on how quick you want them.
You are quite likely to get charged import duty + handling fees from the postal service which can knock the price of you purchase up quite a bit. Anywhere from £10 to £50 depending on what you've bought and it's value.
