ok just wanted to ask you guys if you new the answer,
RE ending a listing early. i searched through ebay, and it says you can do this aslong as there are 12 or more hours to go for the listing. however it says that there are two options, one you can sell to highest bidder early. or two you can cancel bids and end listing (not selling to anyone)
however on the page i got this info from, beneath it had contradicting information, saying that if there were bids on the item you had to sell it to the person. I am positive i have ended a listing early with bids on it and i didnt have to sell to the highest bidder... but i wanted to make sure as im selling a very expensive road bicycle...
here is the page i refrenced my info from..

I'm not sure how enforced these rules are.
All i know is I have been the highest bidder a few times in the past but the item has been sold to someone who has come in with an offer.
Maybe if the highest bidder complains then there would be an issue. I've don't know if this helps, i've never sold anything on ebay.

You can end a listing whenever you want without being tied to selling it to at that time highest bidder.
Thats on ebay uk anyways
