right guys can you give the superstar 2's a break? honestly, so they're not your preferred version ok i get that, ok so most of the uber limited ultra expensive versions of supes aren't superstar 2 anymore SO FUCK?
We all own or have owned a pair of superstar 2'S they'll of been the first version most of us will of owned, and if we are honest they'll of been the first kind most of us will of in seen the flesh.
OK i get you like a different shape OK so fuck, honestly i like, no i prefer my ss2's so fuck? this is SUPERSTAR DATABASE 'Home of the adidas superstar' go back a few years and you ALL loved the 2's. OK you prefer a different ...Silhouette so what? Adidas produce hundreds of different shoes a year why slag off ss2's? if it wasn't for them none of us would of even wandered on here! IF BAPE or UNDFTD decided to release another ss2 you'd be all over them.
OK i understand hype is a powerful thing but i find the repeated hating on of all 2's basically insidious and for purported superstar lovers ultimately self defeating.

I appreciate that you have such a passion for the 2s, but that doesn't make me like them. And, that's okay. I'm not asking you to stop liking them just because I don't. That's just silly.

Anyway, I love SS2's. I like all supes. Most of my collection are SS2's. I wish they would make the shell more like the pre 2003 shell again. That looked so much cooler.

Lol, love the "I eat pot noodle" during a rant. Most of mine are 2's but like you say for some reason adidas don't seem to make the more limited releases in 2's.
Also what's happened to the superstar skate?!

i just felt it was about time someone stood up for the humble old has-been that the ss2 has become

narr not just you lorrie, soz bud, not just the ssdb fraternity, adidas have to take some of the blame, even the general trainer buying population but probably mainly hype & propaganda machinery that surrounds the industry.

when they stop making two's, i'll stop buying shoes....

For me it's got nothing to do with hype, I just think SS2s are the least comfortable because of all that padding, especially the tongue. I know the padding should make them more comfy, but my feet beg to differ. I always preferred the SS1 over the SS2 because of the thin tongues, and vins + 80s simply fit my feet better (and feel slightly more light weight) so that's why I prefer them. That, and they look better

I honestly don't think I would buy SS2s no matter what collab adidas would come up with.

And yes, I used to have loads of SS2s, and some of them were my favorites, I just think 80s and vins are an improvement

It also pisses me off that adidas have padded the tongues on some of the recent vins, it sort of ruins them for me. They should have kept them like the first ones they did, i.e. the 35th consortiums, bordeaux vins, snakeskin vins, etc.

No pot noodles for me (not today anyway), just ranting

I love the SS2 but will concede that the SS1 looks that little bit better.

And top shout PB, bring back the MK1&2 Superstar Skate!!! Now there is a "marmite" pair.
