Another newbie - Deefuzz - 20-03-09
Hello all,
I'm 29 from the US (St. Louis, Missouri, to be exact) and I just stumbled upon this site and figured that I had to sign up.
Been a big Adidas fan as far as I can remember. I've always been interested in Jordans and Pumps and stuff like that, but the shoes I always wore were Adidas. I started off with some Sambas in Junior High and High School and then moved onto Gazelles and Superstars. I really dug the Superstars most of all, and when I wore one pair to death I would go right out and buy the same pair again. My classic style was white shoe with black stripes. Eventually I saw the Superstars less and less and kept finding the Superstar 2G's which I started to buy and fall in love with. I unfortunately only have my near death Superstar 2G's (3rd or 4th pair now) at the moment.
Recently I have discovered that Nike had been re-releasing old shoes that I had always wanted but never got a hold of because I didn't have money: like Jordans, Air Max 95's, etc. This lead me to discover the whole sneaker culture that was out there which I knew nothing about. I did a search for Adidas and found a few shoes that I had never seen in stores but never found a community based on Adidas until today.
So I am pretty green with the Adidas shoe game except for what I can find by just walking into a store, but I am interested in learning more and adding more Adidas to my collection to take over the top spot in my closet like it deserves!
Anyways, sorry for the long winded introduction. I'll try not to act too much like a newbie, but I can't help it that I got into all this as late as I did.

nice intro, but superstars 2G´s??? Have a look at the members collection thread and you´ll find a lot of beautiful superstar 1s, 2s & vintages. Much better than the 2Gs.
