I'm gonna say fake.

Mainly because that insole would point to a re-issue and I never heard of the black weave's getting re-issued.

But I'm most probably wrong.

Aah, I could well be wrong then!

What's the date on the FTR's? 2001 ish?

That insole is in my black snakes too, I was just assuming it's a late insole but maybe not.

The WV's were around late 90's to early 00's I think? Anyone got a pair to check the date?

id say put them next to some genuine ones

and if they look a similar shape, are put together similar, i.e. check the distance between the stitching

and look pretty sound, id say they are real..
