Sizing and that - Big J - 07-11-07

Afternoon all.

Just a (possibly stupid) query.

When it comes to Superstars does half a size make much of a difference? I'm an 11, and there's some nice trainers I want off pickyourshoes.com, but they only have them in 12's, which makes 'em 11.5 in real sizes.

Don't wanna get em if they're gonna be too big!

Wear think socks!
I've got no problems going a half size up, but never down!
Recently bought some vintages in a half size down from my usual.
Gonna use them as my angry shoe because every time I wear them I'm raging

i've found that it really depends on the shoe and if you're going a size down, the socks.

i've got Upper Playgrounds and Project Playgrounds both a half size down and the UP's are good for about a half day and the PP's are fine all day. With both I wear my thinnest socks.

I've got Caviars 12.5 and they're a bit slippy on the heel, but I wear thicker socks and problem solved.

And yeah, I find Vins fit a bit big and suede definitely fits bigger than leather once it packs out a bit.

From my experience, every single pair I have fits differently.

I'm a size 11 but a 10.5 fits good if a little snug 11.5s just look to big tho

Yeah, I agree, unless your 11's are already pretty loose, you probably won't even notice the difference

9's, 9.5's and 10's are all good for me.

It all depends on the shoe, how much you want it and how much you wear it!!!!
