Both are cool imo. I tend to switch them out depending on what color shirt I'm wearing. I like the curtains to match the carpet.

Went with that look for my Vaders but the red ends up being too bright. Best to go with black.

Medium gauge whites might be cool too. Now that I see the red more, I think it's a tad bit bright.

I've got thin whites in mine and it looks good. I have tried light grey too and that also works very well.
... and of course black looks good too
