I like these, beautifully crafted, and all the Tim range of hand made looking stuff.. think you can get those at an outlet? used to live close to a big one in the UK and I'm sure I saw something similar.

Yeah Poj, it is pretty damn bright, when up against the black....the suede version wasn't so bad b/c of the brown trim, but the all leather was 'odd'...

Never been a fan of the running shoe but have been trying to resist these for years and have finally given in as I was presented with one pair in my size and fairly cheap. Bought more out of nostalgia than anything else!!!

Totally understand what you're saying Vern but for runners these are nice. Are they the SL72?

RE: What the Postman brung part 2. - Tifoso - 19-01-12

Them's those pre-weathered Vintage SL72's.

RE: What the Postman brung part 2. - vox - 19-01-12

Nice colour on those Big Vern. Got a few of them myself, very uncomfortable though. The sole feels very narrow, like walking in high heels Laughing

I don't think any companies actually got running shoes figured out until the 1980's. You don't want to walk in them for very long, much less run in them.

My first non supe pick up in more than a year. No Star Wars fan, but just love these superskates. Also still after the ping pong superskates in a UK9, so if anyone comes across a pair of those... Smile

Those are quite nice. I'm after the ping pongs too. I missed out on some lovely all white perf superskates a year or so ago and I'm still kicking myself!
