Pure used a dremel tool on his and 'shaved' off the yellow layer. I bought something called sea glow wich is used on boats but it didn't help me with my sun damaged patents. Mine might have been too far gone though. A lot of clips about it on the tube...

I assume you didn't leave one shoe in the sun. What I do sometimes is bleaching. No regular bleach though. I use stuff from HG which is meant to get rid off mold in the shower. I don't know if HG is an international brand though. And be carefull, I ruined quite some clothes I cannot guarantee 100% result. Yellow shells from over 10 years old don't get a 100% white.
