"Chewoo" is an abbrieviation of Cherry Wood, I think. My MK1 SS Skate has it as well.

Cherry seems rights, but is the adidas's interpretation of it = cherrywood?

As in fairway green, collegiate red, etc.

I have seen adi colourways listed as cherry wood, so wasn't making that bit up.

Sod it, they're burgundy.

I'd probably descibe them as "plum".

Anyway, they're damn fine whatever the color.
