Hey all,
Not sure if this guy is selling fakes or what, but he's offering a pair of 35th Berlins and saying they come with the original box. That's when I noticed the box in his photos; NOT the actual 35ths box (correct me if I'm wrong though). So I messaged him and asked if the 'original box' was the one in the photos. He said 'yes'. Red flags went up! I then messaged back asking why he thinks this is the original box and that it seems like he was selling fakes. I gave him the chance to explain things and got no response. What do you guys think:

It could be he bought them from someone else in that box and has no idea it should be different. Would need more pics of the actual shoes to ascertain whether they were fakes or not.
If you accused me of selling fakes based solely on the box I probably wouldn't reply either...

Now the seller has replied saying "most of the US release came in white boxes, and most of the UK and Australia release came in blue boxes". Can anybody verify this? Sounds a bit weird to me...

No, this is not true all 35th's came in white boxes even the top secrets (leather).

Fast response Lurky. So this guy's blatantly lying then? Sound fishy as all hell. I'd really like to coop a clean, new pair of this 35th Berlins in a half size smaller though, especially since I don't have the box with the beat up pair I came across years back.
What do you think I should do? Ignore the guy? Confront his lie? Eat some beef and broccoli?

Looks to me like he doesn’t know what he is talking about, if the Berlins are 1/2 size small I would just leave alone as they come up small anyway, giving you a full size smaller than needed.
Oh.. and beef and broccoli sound nice.

Ah ok. That's why the US 11 I have fit so well. Maybe I will just stick with 'em. What's up with sportiela? How can they sell 35ths so cheap? They have a ton of sizes too. You bought from them before?
