Won on the euro, but not the jackpot (6quid). I'm happy cause its still a win, but you will have to wait a bit longer for the ssdbNY meet up

Absolute beauts they are Lexus.
I went to Teerenpeli distillery yesterday with couple of friends to fill our own whisky barrel. Just 4-7 years and we will have about 10 bottles each with our own labels and everything.
It is an old sherry barrel.

Looks good T, how much does it cost to do?
Do the distillery look after it for you?

I would hope so, G. Imagine if you filled it up and they were like, "OK we'll help you load it into your car. Will that be cash or credit?"

Yes we are

They take care of it. In the contract it says that they will take care of it for ten years. In reality we shouldn't keep it there more than 4-7 years because it is quite small barrel after all and it will vaporize a bit.
My portion is going to be around €300 - half now and rest when it's ready.

Sounds good, daft question but what do plan on doing with them, drink/keep/sell?
What do you expect the taste to be like compared to a commercial whisky?

It's only like 10 bottles for me so I'm going to drink most of them. Maybe keep a bottle or two and probably give as a present one or two.
If it tastes anything like their Kaski (brand new thing that came to stores this Monday) it should be pretty good. Maybe you could say that it tastes a bit like the ones that come from Speyside. Fruity and quite rich sherry flavour.
