I can't remember if there's a specific beer thread . . . but I've had one or two of these after work, very pleasant in the sunshine.

Yup that's the best beer! Love it.

Will check this out Guy. I've been sticking with Desperado's for around a year now. God, I love it though...

Yep, that is a good beer!

RE: Good Booze Heads up? - ez-1 - 26-03-12

That's one seriously good beer. You might want to try the Brooklyn Ale as well.

That beer is quality! Got it on tap at my local. Bonus!

Estrella for me over the weekend... will have to track the Brooklyn down thumbright

That Brooklyn beer is very nice. There used to be a restaurant in London called Harlem that sold that beer, and the best fried chicken ever. Their cornbread was pretty damn good too! Sadly it's now been replaced with a stupid Italian deli Sad

I haven't seen that beer in the shops though.

can anyone recommend a quality single malt under 100? i owe my mate a bottle for all the help with the bike!

RE: Good Booze Heads up? - Poor Sod - 19-04-12

Lagavulin 16yrs is very, very tasty. It's also price worthy because they make so much of it I'm told. Don't know the price in your country though, but in Sweden 1 litre cost 90 euro and we have high tax on alcohol.

Laphroaig 10yrs is another good one with very rich flavor. If you want to go with something smoother then I would take Glenmorangie The Original. They have other flavors as well, but in my opinion the original is the best.

Laphroaig! I was racking my brains trying to remember that last night! Nice one T.

Got some of the Brooklyn beer yesterday, just tasted it. Great stuff. Thanks all that recommended it.
