I just use Dawn liquid dish soap and a toothbrush on the outsole/shell. It's the same stuff they use to clean the animals up after an oil spill.
I clean as I wear 'em so the dirt never gets built up. Just takes 5 minutes or so at the end of the day.

I use the hog brush, dry, just to get dust and dirt of the upper then clean the outsole with the Dawn/toothbrush.(washcloth to dry it) I use the JM liquid stuff on the upper only if It's needed.

Ben, that's what they use to get the oil off the wildlife
after an oil spill.
Just seems to work well on kicks and it's a good cause, I figure.(they donate tons of the stuff and money to wildlife groups)
