stupid spyware on my wireless modem is keeping me from the ssdb over the weekend - most of the time it's hit and miss, this weekend all miss.

and now my wife has phoned to tell me the bank machine has eaten my card when she was trying to get out rent money.

Well, unfortunately... or actually fortunately,

I got my money back from the seller on this today. I'd rather have the Underworlds and if they do end up coming in, I will pay the seller immediately.

I'm bummed though, I don't want the money. The shoes, right? I guess a good deal is not a good deal if you never get them.

And a REQUEST FOR GUIDANCE

I won a pair of Underworld Tomatos on ebay on October 16th from the UK.

I paid the seller immediately, and waited... waited waited... It's been nearly a month and I still have not yet recieved the shoes.

I contacted the seller at a little over 2 weeks to inquire if they had shipped, he said he shipped them the day after I paid, he has no tracking ID to reference but be patient.

As an FYI, I contacted him at 3 weeks and let him know I hadn't recieved them, and I just got back from Toronto last night, no shoes... I sent him another message that I haven't recieved them.

I've been lucky that in all my years on eBay, I've never been burned. Sometimes things have been a bit late but I always got the items as promised.

What should I do? Be a bit more patient? File a dispute? I'm not sure how to proceed because this is all new to me.

I'm so bummed, I've been after Underworlds for so long, I thought I was finally good.

This is exactly what I was thinking since I got them for a good price. I haven't left feedback yet. So I'm waiting. But I will say this, The seller has a few private auctions that have been settled since I won my auction, so he might have sold them to someone else already and I'd never know.

Thus, my crankiness....
