yep, the raps did play in purple. They've pretty much switched to white and red, but the purple is still an official colour and featured on the NBA Campus series that sucked last year.
BTW, the sample of the Superstar had the purple dinosaur logo on it, but they wisely took it off.
anyway, pokey wanted me to post this flip i did this morning (thanks again to El Samo for the laces)

Here are my latest flips, I'm liking the Halfshells although they aren't quite the right shade of Green (@ KOTF: Where did you get those Greens in you Nubucks?). Can't make up my mind about the Raptors at all, White, Black or Red all look good. But the Vegas ones aren't right, anybody know of some Fat Golds?

Dunno if a wheat/beige ones might work in the Vegas ones, like the kind folk have put in the Philly Blunts? Look quite similar to the ones they come with.

I got my Green fatties in my Nubucks at Shoelacesexpress. They are on this page, under Hunter Green.

I'm also looking for gold. I have a pair of Pumas on their way that need a true Gold lace. I was actually thinking about trying out some Tan laces, sprayed with adhesive and adding Gold glitter to them... I'm not sure how that would work out though.
